Habitat Heroes
Habitat Heroes is a joint project between BEES and BCEP.
The aim of the project is to enhance awareness and understanding of biodiversity through practical creation of habitats in the school grounds. To both improve their value for wildlife and create a sustainable teaching resource.
The project aims to involve, as much as possible, the whole school in the design, implementation and future use of these grounds resources and to embed their use into the school curriculum.
Schools involved in the first year are Green Lane Primary, Heaton Primary, Long Lee Primary, Woodside Primary, Denholme Primary.
