planting the fruit treesToday we were continuing with our project to improve the fruit growing areas and the wildlife area at the school. We planted 11 fruit trees, with the help of gardening club, parents and school staff. These were a mixture of apples, pears and plums.

We also continued with the planting of the wildlife hedge and the beech hedge which will shelter the vegetable growing area. A few flowering shrubs and fruit bushes were also planted.

Today we worked with 15 volunteers.
