Peel Park Primary

The school was keen to have a pond as a resource for their science studies.
At the end of June a group of children visited the BEES Urban Nature Reserve to find out about ponds and try their hand at pond dipping.

Later, in September, a pond was dug on site and filled up with ground water so will not need to be lined.

Children have helped plant bulbs in their school.

There are exciting long term plans for the rest of the school including a large food growing/allotment area and woodland trail.
