On Tuesday 27th November we helped 3 classes planting trees and bulbs on the new school field at Appleton Academy. The trees were bought by H&J Martin, the company that has just completed the new building, and we were joined by Garry Farmer, the site construction manager.
Despite the drizzle, the cold and the mud all the children and the parent helpers seemed to enjoy the activity and were pleased to be able to help put the finishing touches to their new school.
