The idea about this initiative is making improvements to the general area around Dirkhill Road and Cecil Avenue which has been neglected and misused and suffered from fly tipping for as long as anyone can remember. The land is mostly owned by the Council and has been subject to several litter pick ups. We are attending litter pick on 11th August and planting wild flowers to improve the area and discourage future fly tipping. Also running session on 7th August at Horton Community Farm to create dry stone wall benches with a group of young people on National Citizenship Scheme.
